5 REASONS TO #MEALPLAN

I am going to keep this short and sweet. Despite my temptation to go on and on regarding #allthingsmealplanning; I will give you the cliff notes version. Let's go!

1. Healthier Meals.

It is much easier to create healthy meal plans when you ACTUALLY plan! When you have a plan it is easier to implement.

2. Reduces Stress.

There is enough stress to deal with at the end of a workday! The LAST thing you want to think about is “What’s for dinner”? When you have a meal plan in place, you know exactly what to cook.

3. Save Time.

Meal plans help you save time because you aren’t wasting time roaming through the grocery store or scanning pinterest to see what sounds good. You have your plan. You know what groceries you need. You execute! Awesome, right?!

4. Save Money.

Meal planning can definitely save you money in multiple ways! You can look through your freezer, refrigerator, or pantry and see what foods need to be used up and meal plan around those items. This cuts down on wasting food! Wasted food = wasted money! You also save money by not aimlessly wandering through the grocery store isles placing whatever looks good in your cart. Win Win!

5. Keeps You ON The Wagon.

If you are on a special diet or have dietary allergies / intolerances, this is where meal planning can really shine! When you have a plan in place, you are less likely to skip a meal or make poor food choices. Your choices have already been made and you have all the tools you need to keep you on track! You can plan for late nights, early mornings, kids practices, life group, whatever your evenings look like. You know ahead of time and can have a plan to stay nourished during the chaos!
